FLINT — Once again Skaff, one of the most successful family-owned furniture and carpet stores in Michigan, is looking to thank our community for its longtime support by launching a new on-line program that will be in place through the holidays to aid selected area charities.
The initiative is called Save & Share.
“What we’re doing is directing our customers to go on-line to www.skaff.com and we’re asking them to click on the Save & Share icon,” said Dick Skaff, Skaff Furniture-Carpet One President. “When they choose to spend $50, they will receive a $150 Skaff Gift Certificate, plus we’ll donate $25 to a local charity.”
This year, Skaff customers can also purchase Save & Share Gift Certificates at the Skaff Showroom. As in previous years, customers may give the certificates as gifts.
Charities participating in the Skaff Save & Share program include Carriage Town Ministries, The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan and Whaley’s Children’s Center.
“Customers can choose one of the three organizations, and we’ll make the $25 donation,” says Skaff. “Essentially, our customer is spending $50 to get $150 worth of furniture or carpet and taking part in supporting a great cause.”
According to Skaff, the Save & Share offer will begin on November 1 and end on December 31, 2014, and he points out there are no restrictions on what the customer buys, even special orders are included.
“All our name brands like Lane, Lees Carpet, Flexsteel, Smith Brothers of Berne, Stainmaster Carpet, they are all part of our Save & Share program,” says Skaff. “It’s a great value for our customer, they make great gift, and it helps our community. It truly is a win-win for everyone!”
