FLINT TWP. — Getting to Florida this summer just got easier. Officials at Bishop International Airport announced last week that Southwest Airlines is returning nonstop service to Orlando. FL (MCO) from June 5, 2016 – August 5, 2016 on Saturdays only.
This service is in addition to the three flights per day the airline will be flying to Chicago/Midway (MDW) with connections across the map.
Airport Director Craig Williams said: “We are excited to see Southwest Airlines continuing their commitment to Flint by rounding off our Chicago/ Midway portfolio with this summer service to Orlando. You can still get to all of your favorite Southwest destinations over Chicago/Midway, but the addition of Orlando is an especially welcomed one for all of our travelers who love to go to Florida.”
