Bowling

Coach: Timothy Nunn and Paul Ballard

Years: Third and second

Losses to graduation: Boys: Dequincy Adams, Jordan Bair, Jordan Nunn; Girls: Two seniors

Key returning players: Caity Cox, Montanna Andrews, Molly Doty

Coach: Abbey Cowen

Years: Three

Last year: Lost every meet, but beat Lapeer in the SVL Meet

Losses to graduation: One Senior

Key returning players: Carson Koegel, who placed in both of his individual events at County Meet and SVL Meet last year. Wyatt Pangerl, who placed in his 100 breast at both County Meet and SVL Meet last year.

“I am looking forward to what this team of 19 swimmers has to offer this year. With hard work, I am confident I will see best times out of everyone on the team,” said Cowen – K.R.

Coach: Tom Weissend

Years: Six

Losses to graduation: Elijah Branson, Isaiah Childress, Malkolm Moore, Deandre Price, Jeremy Thompson

Key players: Zane Hamilton, Nathan Delong, Damian Wilkins, state qualifier Ronald Roland, and state qualifier Jacob Yost.

Newcomer: Brejesh Kumar

“I’m excited because wrestling is an individual and a team sports. We have some strong individuals. There’s a couple holes we need to fill, and we will have a few bumps with that. I think we will compete very well as individuals, but we may struggle against the bigger schools,” said Weissend. – K.R.
