Date set for Border Classic

DETROIT — The 2015 Michigan vs. Ohio Border Classic All Star Football Game will be played Saturday, June 13 at Wayne State University’s Tom Adams Field.

The second annual Border Classic will pit the top 40 high school graduates from Michigan against the top 40 from Ohio, nearly all of whom will continue their football careers at Div. I or Div. II colleges. Michigan won the first Border Classic Game 27-14 last June at the University of Findlay.

A cooperative event between the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association and the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association, the game will bring together the top 40 players from each state, along with six of the top coaches from each state to the campus of Wayne State for a three-day camp June 10-12. An awards banquet will complete the camp Friday night before the Saturday game. — D.N.
