Stadium Adventures books written by Michigan author

AUTRAIN — The first edition of a new series of books for middle grade readers is now available for purchase at amazon.com.

Freaked Out at Wrigley Field, Stadium Adventure Series Book #1, by Michigan author Roger D. Hess, is a front row, page-turning ticket to fun for kids.

The story is about three brothers who have never been to a major league stadium.

So, when their mom arranges for her rough-andtumble boys to travel to see Cubs play at Wrigley Field, it’s a dream come true.

The plan is simple: Meet up with their eccentric, old Uncle Dave at the bus station in Chicago. Go to the game.

But, somehow, the simple plan suddenly blows up, and the brothers’ dream come true transforms into their worst nightmare!

“The book is fun. It’s educational. It’s scary. And it’s a little bit magical,” says author Roger Hess. “It’s worth noting, kids who have read Freaked Out at Wrigley Field have all given it 4- and 5-star reviews. And a few of them who have been to Chicago said it was fun to read about some of the places in the city they had visited.”

With the sale of each Stadium Adventure book, a donation will be made to the leading, national hunger non-profit, said Hess.
