GENESEE COUNTY — State Bank, a full-service independent community bank with offices in Fenton, Linden, Holly, Grand Blanc and Brighton, announced several staff changes last week.
Lisa Wood has been promoted to Business Banking Manager of The State Bank. She has worked in the Grand Blanc market for the past seven years as the branch manager and community development manager.
In her new role, Wood will work closely with our business clients on electronic banking services, merchant services, cash management and remote deposit capture.
Sarah Duncan has recently joined Fentura Financial Partners, a division of Fentura Financial, Inc. of Fenton as a financial planning officer.
In her new position, Duncan will assist customers with financial planning, retirement income savings plans, investments, education expense goals and life insurance.
Fentura Financial, Inc. is the holding company for The State Bank, Davison State Bank and West Michigan Community Bank.
Carl Moraw joins The State Bank as vice president in the Residential Lending department. He has more than 23 years of prior banking experience as a community bank president, commercial lender and residential market sales manager.
He and his wife, Gretchen, have raised their two daughters in Clarkston.
The State Bank, also announced the promotions of Ann Rockman and David Scott to vice presidents of the residential lending division.
Rockman began her career in banking more than 36 years ago in the Fenton area. She joined The State Bank in 2001 as a Mortgage Lender and has been serving the communities of Genesee County in that capacity for the last 12 years. Ann and her husband, Hal, reside in Linden.
David Scott joined The State Bank in 2012. He has been a resident of Fenton for the past 22 years. He and his wife have raised their two daughters in this community and attend St. John’s Parish. — G.G.
