Still time for Water’s Extreme Journey



FLINT — At Sloan Museum and the Longway Planetarium, 1221 E. Kearsley St., journey through an interactive maze that engages visitors in an exciting quest to stay clean, while flowing through rivers, lakes, backyards, and into homes, through May 8.

On April 9, at 1 p.m. there will be a Water Wise event at the exhibit, at 1 p.m. for ages: 8 and up. The fee: $7 per person, $6 members. The guest presenter: Genesee Conservation District.

Water is one of Earth’s most precious resources and we use it every day, but it needs to be protected. Explore water pollution and conservation with a variety of fast-paced and fun hands-on activities. Investigate the water cycle in the Water Cycle Relay Race.
