Summer sports camps



June 13: Brandon Carr of the Dallas Cowboys will be hosting his 2015 Elite Football & Cheerleading Camp, for youth ages seven to 17, at Carman – Ainsworth Middle School located at 1409 W Maple Ave. Flint, MI 48507. 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Special guests include:- Dan Skuta of the Carolina Panthers and other NFL special guests. June 15-17: Mott Community College Summer Softball Camp at the Mott Softball Field in Kearsley Park. Morning and afternoon sessions. Mornings for grades 5-8, afternoon for grades 9-12. Morning runs 9 a.m.-noon, afternoon 1-3 p.m. Cost: $90 for all three days pitchers and catchers, Skills camp $120 for all three days. Limited to first 20 girls per session. June 15-17: Detroit Lions Fundamentals Football Camp. 8:30 a.m.-noon at Grand Blanc High School. Limited enrollment. Cost: $169. Open to girls and boys ages 6-14. 10:1 athlete to coach ratio 10:1. Register at www.detroitlions.com/footballeducation.

June 16: Mott Community College Bruin Classic All-Star volleyball, 7 p.m. at Bellanger Fieldhouse.

June 20: 4th Annual Pickleball FUN Tournament. Cage Fieldhouse, 4110 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. $30 entry fee. Check-in 8 a.m., play begins at 9 a.m. Entry fee includes T-shirt with goodie bag if entered before June 2. Breakfast snacks, light lunch, door prizes. June 22: Mott Community College Bruin Classic All-Star softball and baseball games, 6 p.m. at Whaley Park.

June 22-25: DOC youth baseball camp (formerly T and T). 33rd annual, at Davison High baseball field. 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Fundamental camp includes hitting, bunting, sliding, throwing, outfield play, base running and more. Cost: $140. Details: tmahan@olivetcollege.edu or 517-763-7772.
