FLINT TWP. — Supervisor Karyn Miller has announced plans to hold a series of coffee hours to discuss township issues residents that began this week at the McDonald’s at 3060 Miller Road.
Called “Koffee with Karyn” these meetings will be held at local restaurants that are easily accessible to residents.
“In going door to door as part of my re-election effort, I have been pleased at the number of residents who are very interested in the specifics of a number of township issues,” Miller said. “These coffee hours give us a chance to discuss the issues in small groups and allow residents to provide me with direct input about their concerns in the township.”
The next meeting is planned for 11 a.m. to noon Saturday June 16, 11 at Donna’s Donuts, 1135 W. Bristol Road.
Subsequent sessions will be held from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday June 19, at McDonald’s’, 1232 N. Ballenger Hwy.; and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday June 26 at Tim Horton’s, 1490 S. Linden Rd.
The coffee hours are open to all township residents. More meetings will be scheduled in July, Miller said. — R.S.
