FRANKENMUTH — HAP invites Zehnder’s of Frankemuth 2019 Snowfest enthusiasts to support HAP’s Boots for Kids drive by taking a photo with HAP’s big orange boot, a 12-foot sculpture, near Main Street in Frankenmuth.
Through Jan. 27, HAP will donate $1 to the drive each time a person posts a Twitter or Instagram selfie with HAP’s big boot and tags @HAP Michigan using #HAPbootsforkids. Social profiles must be public so that it can be tracked. The goal is to collect a maximum of 1,500 selfies.
Monetary donations are also accepted online at hap.org/bootsforkids. From now until Jan. 31, HAP will collect funds and new boots to ensure that local families have the proper footwear for the winter season.
Attendees taking a break from the cold can also visit with HAP representatives in the main Snowfest tent to grab a free gift. Fair attendees can get face time with HAP’s helpful and friendly staff to get important questions about health insurance answered.
HAP is a Michigan-based nonprofit health plan that provides health insurance coverage to thousands in the Flint-Saginaw-Bay City area. — G.G.
