FLUSHING — Flushing Candy Company officially celebrated the opening of its location on Main Street in Flushing with a ribbon cutting on Aug. 19. The store, which opened last December during the Flushing Candlewalk, serves hand-rolled ice cream, chocolates, hard candy and gummies.

Scott Webster, owner and founder of Flushing Candy Company, said that his store specializes in unique and new flavors and a lactose-free ice cream base, while offering allergy-free products and healthier alternatives to traditional treats.

Flushing Candy Company is open Monday thru Saturday from 12 to 8 p.m. To see a menu of ice cream and candy flavors, visit citycandy.co. — B.G.
