With the Big Nine meet being hosted by Davison and taking place today at Kearsley, the Lady Cavaliers’ wrapped up the 2011 regular season last Thursday at Swartz Creek with a 103-82 victory. Getting things started for Carman-Ainsworth by finishing first in the 200 medley relay in 2:15.58 was Katie Odle, Ashleigh King, Mackenzie Bartlett and Mara Johnson, in the 200 free Allia Howard was first in 2:25.63 and Andrea Bade was third at 2:33.83, and in the 200 IM, Johsnon and Odle took first and second place with times of 2:24.55 and 2:52.64, respectively.

In the 50 free for the Lady Cavaliers, King was the team’s top performer in third at 30.93, Jenniffer Messina was second in the diving competition with 144.5 points and Kassidy Lord was third with a score of 125.7. In the 100 fly, Howard came in second in 1:23.21. It was Johnson who won the 100 free for Carman-Ainsworth by clocking in at 1:04,78 and Courtney Glinka was third in 1:07.65, Mackenzie Bartlett and Rebecca Bade finished second and third in the 500 free at 6:54.05 and 6:55.00, and winning the 200 free relay in 2:01.05 was Kitts, Bade, Glinka and Howard.

As for the 100 backstroke, placing second in 1:22.06 was Odle, King won the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.78 and completing the 400 free relay in 4:27.74 was Bartlett, Bade, Johnson and Howard. — M.S.
