Construction of a wooden knee wall in front of the board of trustees’ meeting table was recently completed. Construction and installation by Driesen Home Detailing cost $14,440, according to board minutes. The wall was approved without discussion as part of a consent agenda at the board’s November 20 meeting. During construction, Trustee Tom Klee said the wall was needed to provide added security for the board. The table was previously dressed only with fabric skirting. Clerk Kathy Funk acknowledged the work of Koen Driesen for building the wall and also noted that the room has been freshly painted by Paul Nebraski, a staff member. — Photo by Rhonda Sanders
