The Optimist International Junior Golf Championship hosted by the Lapeer Optimist Club 12 p.m. at DEVIL’S RIDGE Golf Course. Lapeer Area and Michigan District boys and girls ages 10-18 years old can enter; junior golfers must play in a local qualifier to advance. Pre registration only with deadline by Thursday, May 29, registration fee of $50 for 18 holes, or $40 for 9 hole includes golf, walking (no carts allowed) and a hotdog lunch. Trophies will be awarded as well as the District Qualifying Tournament entry fee for the top boy and girl for each division. Weingartz Warriors Relay For Life Team Golf Outing. 10 a.m. at CASTLE CREEK GOLF COURSE, Lum. Teams must be foursome consisting of two men and two women. Hotdogs at the turn and a burger when you are finished. Cash and prizes will be awarded. Cost is $50 per golfer, $200 per team. Optional $20 skins per team. Murphy’s Drive for Education 2014 Golf Scramble at METAMORA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB. 7:30 a.m. registration begins, 8 a.m. shotgun start. $75 per person, $300 per team, 4 person scramble. Includes 18 holes of golf with cart, coffee and donuts, hot dogs, chips and dinner. Give-a-ways, team pictures, raffles and lots of great door prizes.
