Inaugural Golf Classic benefiting The Child Advocacy Center of Lapeer County. 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at LAPEER COUNTRY CLUB. $300 per team paid by September 7. Adaptive Golf Program to host 20th Annual Pro-Am Scamble at ROLLING HILLS GOLF CLUB. 18 hole par 3 format scramble will start 9 a.m. Preregistration required by September 9. $45 per golfer includes cart, hot dog at the turn and awards luncheon. 24th Annual Bendle High School Charlie Russian Memorial Scholarship Golf Outing at THE JEWEL in Grand Blanc. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost $50 per player, $200 per foursome includes scramble, longest drive contest, closet to pin, Vegas hole, and Lunch to follow. Sixth Annual Chris Gruno Scholarship Foundation Golf Outing at SUGARBUSH GOLF CLUB. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m with shotgun start at 10 a.m. $80 fee per person includes 18 holes with cart, golf towel, coffee and donut breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet at Madden’s Lounge immediately following. The Friends of the Goodland Township Library is hosting a golf outing fundraiser at CASTLE CREEK GOLF COURSE, 5191 Lum Road, Attica, MI. This fundraiser is to help the library with creating programs for the public. This fundraiser is not only a golf outing, but dinner is being provided by the Smokehouse in Almont, MI. $35 per person, dinner only $12, golf and dinner is $55 per person. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. Golfing starts at 12:30 p.m. and dinner will start at 5 p.m. Registration forms to golf need to be submitted by September 13th. Cost is $135 per person and dress code is enforced. 9 a.m. range opens, 10 a.m. shotgun starts. 18 holes with cart, lunch at the turn and dinner. Sponsorships and additional games and prizes. St. Clair County Community College’s athletic department golf outing at PORT HURON ELKS GOLF CLUB, 3292 Beach Rd., Port Huron Township. 18 hole scramble begins at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $250 per foursome or $65 per person day of the event.
