THOMAS DAVID DEBIEN,
49, of Gaines, died on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at University Hospital, Ann Arbor. .) Thomas was born November 1, 1960, in Detroit, the son of Leo T. and Mary (Whalen) Debien. He married Lynnette Rae Paro on October 8, 1988.
He was raised in Grand Blanc and was a 1979 graduate of Luke M. Powers High School. He was a 1984 graduate of Ferris State College. He was employed by SAIC/Benham Corp in Walled Lake. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Lynnette Rae Paro-Debien of Gaines; two children, Sydney Rae Debien and Spenser David Debien; parents, Mary and Leo Debien of Grand Blanc; siblings, Timothy J. Debien of Mt. Morris, Maureen A. Debien of Atlanta, GA, Paul W. and wife Kathy Debien of Spring Lake; parents-in-law, Cleo and John Paro of Kingsley; brother-in-law Brian Paro of Traverse City; niece and nephews, Sarah, Tanner, and Bradley Debien.
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to a college fund for Sydney and Spenser Debien (c/o Lynnette Paro-Debien).
A Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gaines. Fr. Francis George officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc.
