FLINT TWP.—Three incumbents and a challenger are projected to gain four seats on the Flint Township Board of Trustees.
As of press time Wednesday, incumbent trustees Tom Klee (D), Carol Pfaff-Dahl (D) and Barbara Vert (D) and challenger Debbe Campbell were projected to win four-year terms on the township board, edging out challenger David Huffman (R). Klee led the candidate field with 21 percent of the vote (3,039 votes), followed by Campbell with 20 percent (2,875 votes). Pfaff-Dahl was in third place with 20 percent of the vote (2,851 votes), and Vert held 20 percent of the vote (2,814 votes). Huffman rounded out the field with 18 percent (2,626 votes).
All numbers reflect the vote counts reported on the Genesee County Clerk website as of press time. – B.G.
