Three suspects charged in mobile home park homicide

FLINT TWP. — Three men have been charged with the murder of a Flint Township resident at a mobile home park two weeks ago.

On Sept. 2, Flint Township police responded to a shooting on the 3100 block of Avalon Drive at the Villa Mobile Home Park. Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Nathan King, who had sustained gunshot wounds. King later died at a local hospital.

Within hours of the shooting, police arrested 26-year-old Jalen Haynes, 23-year-old Dequan Pugh and 21-year-old Ryan White. All three suspects are from Flint and are facing first-degree murder charges, along with several other charges.

Investigators are still working to determine a motive behind the shooting.
