FLINT – Hurley Medical Center’s 33rd Annual Benefit Ball on March 8, 2014 celebrates an “Enchanted Forest” theme, and “A Tale of Health and Healing”. The Benefit Ball aims to raise $200,000 for Hurley Wellness Programs and the Children at Camp Copneconic in Fenton.
Ten -year-old Rebekah Hall of Davison is this year’s Ball Ambassador.
“Rebekah was diagnosed with asthma when she was 2 years old,” said Elizabeth Hall, her mother.
“She started wheezing, coughing, and waking up a lot at night. I reached out for help and was put in contact with Hurley’s amazing asthma home education program.
Today, Rebekah’s asthma is stable and her lung function is constantly improving.
The 33rd “Enchanted Forest” Hurley Benefit Ball will take place at the Riverfront Banquet Center. The annual black-tie gala features the finest in dining, dancing, entertainment and a silent auction.
