FLINT TWP. — Passersby may not have noticed the signs posted outside Tim Horton’s at 1490 S Linden Road, The restaurant is now co-branded with Cold Stone Creamery, a “super premium’’ brand that is said to be made fresh every day.
Its signature process is to prepare a customized ice cream creation on a frozen granite stone. Customers choose what toppings they want to add to the mix.
Store representatives did not respond to a request for more information but the company website called co-branding another “quick service restaurant concept” that customers love. Cold Stone also operates standalone stores and works with other co-branding partners, according to information on its web site.
In addition to several ice cream, yogurt and sorbet flavors, the store also sells ice cream cakes and cupcakes. Pink Champagne Sorbet is one of its new Spring Flint flavors.
The Cold Stone Creamery on Linden Road joins other nearby locations in Grand Blanc, Clio and one under construction in Burton.
In business for more than 25 years, Cold Stone now has more than 1,500 stores worldwide.
