FLINT TWP. — A Sunday liquor sales permit for Fuddrucker’s Restaurant, 2373 Austin Parkway, was among nine agenda items postponed Monday night when the township board meeting was canceled for lack of a quorum.
Trustees Frank Kasle and George Menoutes and Clerk Kim Courts and Treasurer Marsha Binelli were absent. At least four members of the sevenmember panel must be present to legally conduct business.
The board regular first Monday meeting was scheduled a day late because township offices were closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Day
Other items up for consideration included approval of an agreement for the Flint Township Fire Department to conduct its own firework sales inspections, a contract to designate the Oscar W. Larson Company as the operator of the township’s underground fuel system, a $2,000 donation to Genesee County Household Hazardous Waste Collections, and appointments to the Zoning Board of Appeals, Parks and Recreation Committee and Planning Commission.
The agenda items will come before board at its next regularly scheduled meeting at 7 p.m. on Feb. 4.
