Township Road Advisory Committee sworn in





Township Clerk swore in seven members of the township’s Road Advisory Committee who will serve for the duration of the recently renewed ten-year road millage.

Township Clerk swore in seven members of the township’s Road Advisory Committee who will serve for the duration of the recently renewed ten-year road millage.

FLINT TOWNSHIP — Members of the township board Road Advisory Committee have been sworn in for ten-year terms, through 2025.

Their role is to help the township make spending decisions for the recently renewed road millage.

The township board approved the appointment of the following:

Karyn Miller, chairperson

John Whiteside, secretary

Wayne Nierman

James Rouse

Dave Huffman

Jeanine Libka

John Lawrence

Gene Leverette

One position remains open on the nine-member panel. Anyone interested in applying is asked to contact township officials.

The township board also presented certificates of appreciation to members who served the past ten years. Some of them also are serving on the new board.

Bylaws revisions changed the term of service to 10 years, expiring December 31, 2025.
