Tri-County Christmas In Action announces Winter Blues silent auction Mar. 31

FENTON — Tri-County Christmas in Action (CIA) announces its upcoming Winter Blues Silent Auction 4-8 p.m. March 31 at the Fenton Community Center, 150 S. Leroy St.

The event, which benefits CIA, features free admission and free food, where the first 100 adult guests will get reusable goodie bags at the door. Other services at the Winter Blues Silent Auction include massages, facials, makeovers and the chance to fill goodie bags with items from every vendor. Cash-n-carry, discounts, gift certificates and individual vendor raffles also will be available.

The Winter Blues Silent Auction also features a dance performance by Chasse Ballroom & Latin Dance Studio, and a pet show by Adopt-a-Pet of Fenton. There also will be a 50/50 raffle and more than 30 silent auction baskets will be auctioned off with more than 200 items in all. More than 15 participating companies will be featured at the event.

Every adult guest will get at least one chance to win the grand prize raffle which is a free Detroit Red Wings game package for two for the April 3 game. Every donation to Adopt-a-Pet entitles attendees to another chance at the grand raffle. Acceptable donations include monetary donations, becoming a foster home, Pro Plan kitten food, clay special kitty cat litter or paper towels.

CIA helps provide free home repairs for low-income and handicapped homeowners. Every year in April, on the last Saturday of the month, thousands of volunteers work side-by-side together to improve the quality of life for seniors while improving the communities. Christmas in Action is a 501(c)(3), grass-roots, neighbor helping-neighbor, national, nonprofit organization.
