FLINT — The YWCA of Greater Flint has announced the Stella and Frederick Loeb Charitable Trust, administered by Huntington Private Bank, has committed to being the Presenting Sponsor of both major YWCA events in 2017—the Annual Golf Outing and the Circle Luncheon.
“The YWCA is honored to have the continued generous support of the Loeb Charitable Trust to assist us with the escalating needs of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Genesee County,” said Heidi McAra, CEO of the YWCA.
Funds raised at both the Golf Outing and the Circle Luncheon support the programs and services of the YWCA including SafeHouse — Genesee County’s only 24-hour emergency shelter for women and children displaced as a result of domestic violence and sexual assault and SAFE Center—the Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Center housed at the YWCA.
The 2017 Golf Outing will be held at Atlas Valley Country Club on Monday, July 31st and the 2017 Circle Luncheon will be held at Genesys Conference and Banquet Center on Wednesday, November 1st.
