Two incumbents unseated in Davison Board of Education race

Pickell, Stefanko and Goyette win 6-year terms on school board

DAVISON — Incumbent Granger Stefanko and two newcomers — Stefanie M. Pickell and Nicholas D. Goyette – were elected from the field of nine candidates to serve on the Davison Board of Education, Tuesday.

Unseated after lengthy terms were President Kathleen Sudia and board member Mark McGlashen.

Pickell was the top vote-getter with 5,291 votes, followed by Stefanko with 5,290 votes and Goyette with 5,171.

Sudia received 4,503, while McGlashen took 4,385.

Kyle R. Robinson had 2,712, Mike Demas had 1,912, Elizabeth Guzak with 3,139 and Barry Young with 2,728. — G.G.
