Two teens charged in CAHS shooting


FLINT TWP. — Four juvenile males have been charged in the shooting of a 15-year-old boy on June 21 at Carman-Ainsworth High School in Flint Township.

The Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges against the boys whose ages range from 14 to 16. They are charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Eithan Williams was shot in the chest during a fight that occurred at a basketball event inside the school. The fight started inside and continued in the parking lot, where Williams was shot. He remains hospitalized at Hurley Medical Center. He is in stable condition, but the bullet is still lodged in his right lung.

The shooting remains under investigation. — J.J.
