FLINT TWP. —Construction is under way on a new warehouse for the Vehicle City Harley Davidson complex, 2408 Austin

Parkway.

The building will be added to the south side of the existing building, according to a site plan request, from

Gary

Gregoricka of

Cella Investments of Owosso, approved by the township Planning Commission earlier this month.

Three businesses including the 35,000- square-foot Harley dealership are currently operating at the L-shaped complex which Vehicle City built in 2009, after purchasing a three-acre lot formerly occupied by a Chi Chi’s restaurant.

Site plan review took into consideration that the complex has an ample parking lot that still will meet zoning requirements when the addition is completed. Lighting will be removed and replaced by lighting on the building. The exterior finish will be consistent with the existing building.
