Veterans at the American Legion post in need of help

It is with regret that American Legion Post 267 announces the cancellation of our annual golf outing, originally scheduled for Sept. 13. We feel this in the best interest of our members and supporters, many of whom are at high risk for COVID-19.

The significant loss of revenue along with other fundraising casualties of the pandemic, leaves us with a problem. Not only will we be unable to provide even more urgent services to area veterans and the community, but we are in danger of being unable to meet the basic costs of keeping our post in operation.

This American Legion Post has been a part of the Davison Community for 100 years. Some of the services we provide are aid to local veterans, baseball sponsorships, scholarships to Boys State, Girls State, DHS Seniors and Trooper School, Salvation Army Angel Tree, Pictures with Santa, Honor Guard at Veterans Funerals, just to name a few.

We are now reaching out to the community for financial support to help keep our programs and Post going. Please consider making a donation to help your local American Legion Post 267 so that we may continue to service our community. Send your donation of check or money order made payable to American Legion Post 267, to PO Box 111 Davison MI 48423.
