The Lady Cavaliers continued their 2016 season on the road on Monday with a hard-fought five-set loss to Kearsley, 23-25, 25-20, 29-27, 16-25, 9-15.

Diamond Lester had 21 assists, five kills, five digs and three service aces, Lauryn Bissonette added 10 kills, Amaya Campbell had nine kills, two solo blocks and four service aces and Angel Eubanks had six kills and three blocks. Mary Dollinger totaled 10 service points, 10 assists and 10 digs, Alexis Reno tallied four kills, 12 digs and two aces, Morgan Sherrer had 25 digs, 11 service points and two aces and Katie Speaks had 15 digs.

“Although we’re at a rough 0-6 start on the season, we look for a successful season as we continue to improve each time we take the floor,” said Carman-Ainsworth coach Barb Hurand. “Tonight was a solid team effort that just fell short.” – B.P.
