A crowd of about 200 people waited outside the new Wahlburgers in Genesee Valley Center Monday morning for the opening of the new Flint Township restaurant owned by actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their brother, Chef Paul Wahlberg. The popular casual dining spot and bar is located at the outdoor Village between Barnes & Noble and Bar Louie. The 3,600-square-foot restaurant has more than 80 employees and an extensive menu that includes each of the brothers’ favorite burger. The restaurant will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday. The Wahlbergs didn’t attend the soft opening, but a ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned at a later date.
