WEARING’ O’ THE GREEN — John Potbury, Genesee County Assistant Prosecutor, is the 2015 Grand Marshal of the St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Flint. Events on Tuesday, March 17, include, at noon, a Mass of St. Patrick at St. Michael’s Church on Fifth Avenue and Saginaw immediately followed by the Irish Family Walk to the McFarlan Park on Saginaw Street, then from 1:30-6 p.m. and then a St. Patrick’s Day Party at Catholic Charities – Flint (old St. Michael’s Fieldhouse) next to St. Michael’s Church on Chippewa Street. The party will feature Irish Dancing, food and fun. A buffet for $10 will serve chicken, corned beef and cabbage, salad, vegetables and dessert. Entertainment also will be provided. The celebration wraps up with the St. Patrick’s Day Pot O’ Gold 4-mile Run and Walk, starting at 5:30 p.m. Details: www.thecompleterunner.com/potofgoldrun.
