What a surprise to see a cluster of birds fly over and perch in a nearby bush on the coldest day of the year
Jan. 28 when daytime temperatures struggled to reach 7 degrees after record setting subzero overnight temps. All schools were closed and frostbite warnings abounded. But our fine feathered friends did not seem to be in a hurry to seek shelter. Here’s hoping they know something the groundhogs didn’t.
