FLINT TWP. — After a summer hiatus, meetings of the West Flint Business Association will resume at noon on Wednesday, September 16.
The guest speaker will be Todd Slisher, director of Sloan Longway. He will talk about the recent Longway Planetarium renovation, highlights of the recently completed Flint Cultural Center Master Plan and special announcements about the Sloan Museum.
Also, Karyn Miller, Flint Twp Supervisor, will give a five- minute update on recent developments.
WFBA meetings are held from noon to 1:15 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month, from September through May. The luncheon meetings are held at Valley Family Restaurant, 5009 Miller Road, and are open to the public and welcomes new members.
WFBA also has two new members on its Board of Directors, replacing Amy Badal and Dave Crabill. They are Walt Widder and Enosh Fee.
Walt Widder has been a member of the WFBA for about 9 years. He is retired, following a 40-year career in the financial services industry. He served the Grand Blanc and West Flint markets for 27 years while employed with Old Kent Bank (now Fifth Third Bank), Lawyers Title Insurance Company, and most recently, Financial Plus Credit Union, from which he retired in January 2013. Most of the remaining years of his career were spent in Shiawassee County.
“Over half of my financial services career was spent in the Commercial Banking arena, which has provided me with considerable insight into the many benefits and problems facing small business owners and managers on a daily basis,” Widder said.
Enosh Fee serves in many helping roles in the community. Having over 20 years of ministry experience, he has been involved in church work his entire life. Fee was Assistant Pastor of Echoes of Faith Church in Flint, and went on to become Lead Pastor of Down To Earth Ministries in Burton. Currently, he is the Director of Worship Arts for Orchard Ridge Church of the Nazarene in Romeo where he oversees the “Arts Ministries” including music, drama, technology, and social media, in addition to preaching. He serves on the Board of Directors for both Orchard Ridge and Echoes of Faith.
Fee also has over 16 years of experience in the business community having worked as a Corporate Account Executive for FedEx Office, and a Commercial Sales Representative for Kendall Printing in Flint Township.
In addition to his church work, Enosh is also very involved in several local community groups. He is a member and former president of the Downtown Flint Optimist Club where he served on several committees. He has worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint, is a member of the Eastside Business Association, and volunteers with many other organizations in the area.
In his personal life, Enosh is an accomplished musician having released several albums and played guitar for a Grammy Award winning recording artist. He lives in Flint with wife Tiffanie, and three sons.
