This old tree on Taft Road behind Sam’s Club and Lowe’s has seen many winters, probably dating back to when it was surrounded by nothing more than woods or farmland. Unable to seek shelter from storms or other environmental distress, this old warrior is showing its age but still standing strong. It serves to remind us that seasons of discontent come and go but all living things are equipped for survival.
