DAVISON — Cold weather may be approaching fast, but that is not stopping Wojo’s Greenhouse in Davison from keeping their doors open through the month of December to offer holiday deals.
For “Customer Appreciation Days,” running from Dec. 5-14, Wojo’s is handing out a free 4 inch poinsettia to any interested person or family. The special occasion is unique to the flower shop and is a way for the staff to show they are “grateful for the pleasure of serving you and helping make your landscape beautiful.
In keeping with the spirit of the season, Wojo’s displays a tree near the front of the greenhouse on which donated hat and gloves hang. The outerwear is being given to the Flint Eastside Compassionate Mission for distribution.
On Nov. 28, the Davison location is offering a Decorate a Wreath workshop from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It costs $30 for an hour and a half session – all the material is available with the class, and it is not limited to beginners.
The store is also offering their Create a Holiday Centerpiece class on December 12, at the same time, cost and length.
The workshops are selling out fast, and tickets can be purchased through the website.
While the adults take advantage of the classes available through the Davison Wojo’s, the kids can tag along stay occupied being taught how to make wood-stamped ornaments (November 28 at 10 a.m.) or a Christmas mug Evergreen arrangement (December 12 at 10 a.m.).
The greenhouse’s special holiday offers also include sales on outdoor decorations, wooden reindeer, kissing balls and Christmas cactuses.
Wojo’s officially closes for the season on Dec. 23.
