After nearly three months of navigating orange barrels and dealing with traffic delays, regular motorists on Flushing Road between Mill and Warner roads will be happy to hear that the pavement repair and asphalt resurfacing project is wrapping up for the season. Flushing Road is scheduled to fully reopen to traffic on Friday, October 30, according to a Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) progress schedule. But the project is not done. After a seasonal suspension from October 31 to April 14, work will resume, including possible slope restoration. June 30, 2016 is the scheduled project completion date.
