YMCA offers free Saturday morning basketball program

FLINT — The YMCA of Greater Flint has a long tradition of creating professional athletes, many who started playing ball at a young age at the Downtown Branch’s gym. Flint youth will have the opportunity to play the same courts like such professional players as Miles Bridges and Kyle Kuzma in a new free program on Saturdays.

Starting Nov. 3, youth can attend a free basketball program from 9-11 a.m. at the Downtown YMCA, 411 E Third St, Flint MI. Skilled instructors will focus on strength and conditioning, offensive and defensive skills. Each day will end with full court game play. The program starts with breakfast served 9-9:30 a.m.

The program is free and open to the public but registration is required and is open to the first 50 youth to sign up. Youth can sign-up in person or drop-off the attached completed registration form to the Downtown YMCA.
