Traffic stopper

While ground crews continued repaving work on Norko Drive last week, an aerial crew worked overhead to upgrade traffic lights. Approved last spring by the Flint Township board, the upgraded pedestrian-friendly traffic signal will include an LED “walk/don’t walk” countdown display with pushbutton activation to stop traffic on busy Linden Road when trail users want to cross over.
